LUKOIL SIGNS NEW LUBRICANTS SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH TMK

LUKOIL has signed a new agreement with TMK (Pipe Metallurgical Company) on supply of lubricants. In 2017-2018, TMK will be using LUKOIL oils for servicing industrial equipment at Volzhsky Pipe Plant, TAGMET, Seversky Pipe Plant and Sinarsky Pipe Plant. From 2018, these plants will also begin to test thread compounds, produced at Volgograd-based INTESMO plant, the joint venture of LUKOIL and Russian Railways.
LUKOIL and TMK have been cooperating in the lubricants supply sector since 2010. Russia's leading pipe manufacturer consumes up to 3,000 tons of oils with hydraulic and gear oils accounting for the main bulk of supply. At the same time, LUKOIL is one of Russia's largest consumers of TMK products such as casing pipes for oil wells.
