LUKOIL TO SUPPLY LUBRICANTS TO KYRGYZ RAILWAYS

​LUKOIL has launched deliveries of lubricants to Kyrgyz Railways (Kyrgyz Temir Jolu). In particular, LUKOIL M-14D2 motor oil will be used for the maintenance of General Electric (GE) locomotives. The product was developed in compliance with the leading locomotive manufacturer's requirements.

LUKOIL M-14D2 is a Generation V mineral oil as per the API СF/CF-2 classification of the Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association. The product was successfully tested and obtained GE Generation 4 Long Life approval. The product's quality provides for an oil drain interval of at least 180 days given the mileage of up to 60,000 miles (100,000 km).

Currently, LUKOIL delivers its diesel engine lubricants to Russian Railways as well as to a number of railroad operators in CIS, Romania and Turkey.

LUKOIL sells its oils in Kyrgyzstan as well as in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and    Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China through its wholly-owned subsidiary LUKOIL Lubricants Central Asia. Currently, the company is building a new lube blending plant in Kazakhstan. The plant's capacity will be 100,000 tons per year. The new manufacturing site is expected to start operations in the second half of 2018.
