LUKOIL TO SUPPLY YAMAL LNG PLANT WITH TURBINE OILS BEYOND THE POLAR CIRCLE

LUKOIL Lubricants Company signed an agreement on delivery of LUKOIL TORNADO T46 turbine oil to the Russia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant Yamal LNG for servicing Siemens compressor equipment.
LUKOIL TORNADO T is a modern turbine oils based on synthetic technology VHVI base oils with very high-performance ashless additive package. LUKOIL TORNADO T oils received approvals from world leading turbines and compressors manufacturers represented in Russia, including Siemens, MAN Turbo, ABB, Voith, Brush, Ural Turbine Works, Turboatom, Power Machines Company and United Engine Corporation (UEC) – Aviadvigatel.

Yamal LNG is an integrated project encompassing natural gas production, liquefaction and shipping using the South Tambey Field (located beyond the North Polar Circle) as a resource base. Yamal LNG is jointly owned by NOVATEK (50.1%), TOTAL (20%), CNPC (20%) and Silk Road Fund (9.9%).
