{ 3/2/2017 12:00:00 AM }

The new LUKOIL GENESIS SPECIAL MC 0W-20 motor oil has obtained MB 229.71 approval from Mercedes-Benz for use in its most advanced diesel engines. LUKOIL plans to start supplying the product to vehicle service stations in Europe and Russia as early as this year.

LUKOIL GENESIS SPECIAL MC 0W-20 is an all-season synthetic multigrade engine oil specifically developed for new turbocharged OM 654 diesel engines in Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. Last year, Daimler launched production of OM 654 engines, and today LUKOIL is one of only two global lubricant producers, whose products are officially approved for use in the new Mercedes-Benz engine.

The OM 654 engine was developed in compliance with the strict European environmental standards. It is equipped with multiway exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and diesel particulate filter (DPF). The new Mercedes-Benz engine exclusively requires low-viscosity premium oils.
