The railway fatting compound is an alloy of castor oil with ceresin and hydrogenated fat. It is produced at one of the most modern industrial facilities in Russia, using high-quality raw materials.
Railway greasing compound
The fatting compound is used to impregnate gaskets and cuffs made of leather used in brake equipment and mechanisms of railway rolling stock. Fat impregnation and lubrication of leather cuffs and gaskets of pneumatic and other equipment are carried out to give them elasticity, airtightness and resistance to destruction. Depending on the conditions of use, there are two types of fattening composition: FATTING COMPOUND-12 and FATTING COMPOUND-40. FATTING COMPOUND-12 is used for impregnation of leather cuffs of air distributors. FATTING COMPOUND-40 is intended for impregnation of leather gaskets and cuffs of brake cylinders.
