Lapping pastes M-5, M-7, M-10, M-14, M-20, M-28, KB-3, KB-4, KB-5 and KB-6 are a mixture of fatty components with abrasive powders. Lapping pastes are intended for grinding mating parts of fuel fittings and other units of diesel locomotives during their repair. Paste grade M-5 is used for grinding plunger pairs and nozzles. Lapping pastes of grades M-7, M-10, M-14, M-20, M-28 are used for lapping plunger pairs of fuel pumps, injector nozzles, finishing the end surfaces of all parts and lapping valves of cylinder covers.

Lapping pastes of grades KB-3, KB-4, KB-5, KB-6 are used for pretreatment and removal of faceting from highly hard metal surfaces (chrome-plated or with other coatings).
