Oil XA-30 is a mineral oil for lubrication of refrigerating machine compressors. It is produced from a mixture of residual and distillate mineral oils. XA-30 oil is used in piston refrigeration compressors for medium and low temperature commercial and industrial systems. XA-30 oil is completely soluble with R12 refrigerant under operating conditions of refrigeration equipment, the resulting mixture is a homogeneous medium that completely returns to the compressor and provides its normal lubrication. The flocculation temperature in the R-12 freon solution for the XA-30 oil is –40 °С.
Oil for refrigerating machines
XA-30 oil is also completely miscible with refrigerants RH, R21, R113, R500. With other refrigerants (R22, R13B1, RH4, R152a, R501, R502), the oil is only partially miscible, the miscibility in this case depends on the temperature and type of refrigerant. XA-30 oil can be used for compressors operating on ammonia (R717). In such cases, the technology provides for oil return points to the compressor. It can also be used to a limited extent in refrigeration compressor systems operating on halocarbon propane and isobutylene refrigerants.
