LUKOIL STARTS PRODUCTION OF MOTOR OIL FOR MODERN VOLKSWAGEN ENGINES IN RUSSIA

LUKOIL has launched production of LUKOIL GENESIS ARMORTECH VN 5W-30 motor oil at its lubricants plant in Perm. It is the first Russian-made product with the VW 504 00/507 00 approval, Volkswagen's most popular modern specification.
The low SAPS GENESIS ARMORTECH VN 5W-30 oil was developed for the VAG Group's (Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda) new generation gasoline and diesel engines. The VW 504 00/507 00 specification confirms that the products provide an extended drain interval, complete compatibility with diesel particulate filters (DPF), less burning oil consumption, as well as high fuel efficiency and low environmental emission. The Volkswagen diesel engines fitted with DPF require mandatory use of the oils with VW 504 00/507 00 specification.
"LUKOIL's plants were the first to receive the official VW 504 00/507 00 approval in Russia. Earlier, only imported oils had this approval in the local market. As has been proven through a series of tests, including trials on Seat Leon TCR racing cars of LUKOIL Racing Team, we managed to create a product with properties which do not simply match the car manufacturer's expectations, but surpass international industry standards," noted LUKOIL Lubricants Company general director Maxim Donde.
